Judi Pears is a Life and Business Coach.
Judi’s expertise is in achieving behavioural change that improves performance, well-being, and relationships.
Judi has a Masters Degree in Organisational Psychology. She utilises her understanding of individual and organisational behaviour to provide interventions that are effective in either work or personal life.
Approach to Coaching
Judi’s coaching style is outcome-focused. She focuses on strengths, develops strategies for improving specific skills and capabilities, and overcomes blocks to achieving desired goals. She challenges clients to extend their capabilities and provides practice for embedding new skills.
Judi's experience supports her coaching style. She challenges and motivates, uses reflective practices, questions rather than advises, addresses difficulties, and provides accountability. over several years Judi has observed how these practices are successful in assisting clients to achieve their goals.
Judi Pears brings to her coaching an extensive background experience in a range of areas including mediation, conflict management, rehabilitation, and counselling. Some examples of Judi’s coaching work includes:
- Coaching for improved self-management: anger management, managing unreasonable behaviour from others, handling change, managing stress.
- Coaching for performance: to gain promotion, meet higher performance requirements.
- Life skills – identifying personal goals, overcoming barriers, improving relationships, increasing motivation, achieving desired goals.
Accredited Supervisor
Judi Pears provides Supervision for Post-Graduate Psychology students to help them achieve the professional competencies for gaining Registration as a Psychologist. She works with the Post-Graduate students in the Griffith University Organisational Psychology progams.
